Sporting Destinations has joined forces with Team Sports,
Argentina to promote the Argentina Youth Rugby Festival.
This annual event takes place in Buenos Aires and is
open to Boys U23s, U18s and U16s and Women (Open Category).
Teams are placed into pools and play reduced matches
(20 minutes each way) during the pool stages with 25
minutes each way for the semi-finals and finals.
During the 5 day festival players and coaches are invited
to take part in coaching clinics by Argentinean top
coaches, Cultural Exchanges functions and integrated
activities to promote the understanding, acceptance
and friendship between people involved in rugby from
around the world.
Since the success of the Pumas at the 2007 Rugby World
Cup finals in France, rugby has become very popular
at schools and clubs and is growing in strength and
standard.

Sample Festival Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival of teams, Accreditations and pool round matches.
Day 2
Opening Ceremony, parade and presentation of teams.
Tango Show. Pool round matches. Rugby Clinic and Dinner
with all teams.
Day 3
Pool round matches. Rugby clinic and Dinner with all
teams. Cultural Presentation.
Day 3
Pool round matches. Rugby clinic. Official Festival
Party and Disco.
Day 4
Finals day. End of Festival Barbecue, Awards and Closing
