Age Groups: U18 & U16
The Argentina Rugby Festival is an annual event that takes place every April in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to promote youth rugby and social exchange in South America.
The festival is open to Boys U18's and U16's and teams play a total of 3 games during the 3 days.
Besides the rugby competition, the festival also features Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Pizza Dinner, Karaoke Party, Rugby Clinics with Top Local Coaches, an Awards Ceremony,
and social activities to build new friendships.
The first Edition was held with great success in Tucuman. More than 300 boys from South Africa, New Zealand, Venezuela, Formosa, Salta and Tucumán starred a weekend that will
stay in their memories for a long time.
Since the success of the Pumas at the 2007 Rugby World
Cup finals in France, rugby has become very popular
at schools and clubs and is growing in strength and
standard.
The Rugby and Hockey Festivals now operate back to back offering schools the opportunity
to run a combined sports tour to Argentina.
Packages are available for 7, 10 and 14 night stays with extensions to the cities of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, were you can play great rugby and enjoy South America hospitality to the full.
