Sporting Destinations in conjunction with Brothers
Sport of South Africa invite you to the schools hockey event of the year!
The Festival has grown from strength to
strength since it was first hosted in 2003. This years (2011) matches were played at Hartleyvale Stadium, Mutual CPUT Hockey Club, Bellville, Fairmont, UCT and WPCC Sports.
Entries are restricted to 24 Boys & 24 Girls teams with players being aged under 18 as at 1st September 2011.
Top schools and clubs and from across the world participate in this annual event. The festival has attracted sides from the UK, Australia, Namibia, USA and also several regions in its host country South Africa. The aim of the Festival is to allow students to participate
in top class hockey, meet new people and
enjoy the wonderful sights that Cape Town and the surrounding
areas have to offer.
Congratulations to the 2011 Girls Festival Winners - Kennemer Lyceum School from the Netherlands and the 2011 Boys Festival Winners - NSW Bush Rangers Kelly Blue from Australia.

Depart London Heathrow for your overnight flight to
Cape Town
Mon 16th July
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you will
be met by a Brothers Sport representative, who will
escort you to your coach for transfer to
your chosen hotel
Tue 17th July
Morning at leisure or training session
1700 – Opening Ceremony of the 2012 U18 Cape Town International
Schools/Clubs Festival
Wed 18th July
Full day of Festival matches (2 matches per team)
Thurs 19th July
Full day of Festival matches
(2 matches per team)
Fri 20th July
Full day of Festival matches (1 match per team)
Evening disco and buffet for all teams
Sat 21st July
Full day Cape Point excursion to include a boat trip
to Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, entry to Cape
of Good Hope Nature Reserve and finally Boulders Beach
to view the famous penguins.
Sun 22nd July
Festival Finals day followed by prize ceremony at Hartleyvale
Stadium
Mon 23th July
Time to say goodbye to Cape Town and either take the
overnight flight back to the London Heathrow Airport
or extend your stay and see more of this beautiful country
