Algarve Rugby Classic, Vilamoura


Age Group: Veterans

The 3rd Algarve Rugby Classics takes place once again in the Mediterranean resort of Vilamoura, Portugal on the 5th May, 2012. 

Designed for players aged 35 and over, the matches are hosted by the Vilamoura Rugby Club.  There will be two dispensations for player's under 35 but over 32. Each team is expected to play a minimum 20 minutes one way per game and play a minimum of 3 to 4 games.   If you’re looking for some fun in the sun, a social tournament with plenty of action on and off the pitch, the look no further, with the exciting nightlife of the Algarve nearby you will not be disappointed.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1
Board flight at your chosen point of departure and depart to Faro.  On arrival you will be met by a local representative who will escort you to your coach, which will the transfer you to your accommodation.  This evening enjoy some welcome drinks with some free time to explore the town.

Day 2
After breakfast board coach for your transfer to Vilamoura Rugby Club.  On match days shuttle buses will be available to take teams to and from the tournament venue. This evening attend the Rugby Festival Gala Dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast check out of accommodation and transfer to Faro airport for your return flight to the UK.  Alternatively extend your stay and enjoy some optional activities such as a round of golf, fishing or simply some R&R at one of the beautiful sand beaches in
the area.
