We frequently run inspection trips to our new and most popular
destinations. Our trips, where possible, take place
in half-term breaks and range in duration from one-week
for long haul tour destinations i.e. South Africa and
the Caribbean to three/five days for European destinations i.e. Cyprus or Spain.
Inspection trips provide the perfect opportunity for you to become
familiar with your destination while getting
to know your Tour co-ordinator. We recommend you bring
your Risk Assessment Forms with you as these are a pre-tour necessity for most touring sides. Viewing the facilities
and services first hand leads to easy completion of the
forms!
We suggest that the tour leader attends the inspection trip (one
invite per school or club), but you can offer your place
to a suitable substitute if you are unavailable. Places are always limited and handled on a first come
first serve basis. The nominal
cost of the trip is returned to you if your group tour
with us within two years of the inspection trip return date.
Individual Inspection Visits
For tour destinations not covered by our inspection
trips, we can arrange for group leaders
to visit their chosen tour destination at very favourable
rates. We will organise visits to suggested hotels, sports venues and excursions on your behalf.
Planned Familiarisation
(Inspection) trips
Sporting Destinations do not have any familiarisation visits planned for 2011 but we intend to run a St Lucia 'familiarisation' trip for school teachers in the Whitsun holidays 2012.
